INDIAN SANDSTONE PATIOS
For those seeking a more traditional look, our Indian sandstone patios are the perfect choice, beautifully complementing classic stone houses and heritage properties.
With a range of colours to choose from, we can tailor the stone to match different styles and budgets. Whether you prefer a traditional pattern or a French pattern for a brick-bond finish, we offer flexible design options to suit your preferences.
Our Patio Process
Our patio process begins with a consultation to assess your outdoor space and determine the best materials. Once chosen, we’ll schedule an installation start date.
Preparation: We begin by clearing any existing patios, ground cover, old base layers, or topsoil to create a solid foundation.
Base Installation: We install an MOT Type 1 base, 150mm thick, compacted in three 50mm layers. This meticulous method ensures a stable, level surface that will last for years.
Patio Laying: The paving is placed on a full mortar bed using a 4:1 sand and cement mix. We ensure complete contact between the mortar and paving, which is essential for strength and durability. All stones are primed before laying for optimal adhesion.
Drainage: We implement a high standard of drainage to prevent water pooling, ensuring your patio remains dry and functional.
Our detailed approach guarantees a patio that is not only beautiful but built to stand the test of time.
